Exciting news for Edge! Edge Signature will soon be available. Edge Signature is a new feature that allows you to send correspondence to be digitally signed from your responsible parties' home or on a tablet in your office.
For example, a responsible party needs to sign a Truth-in-Lending Disclosure. Simply pull up the form from Edge's Word integration, have the responsible party sign via a tablet, and you're done! Edge keeps the signed form in the patient's correspondence history.
Edge Signature also allows you to have multiple people sign the same document.
Other features include:
Merge
Merging a document for Edge Signature for internal signing or send an email to a patient or responsible party for external signing.
Widget Status
A new widget in the dashboard that displays documents that are out for signing and the status of each document.
Security
For your security, the document gets Certificate Signed at the datacenter, meaning that each time a signature is collected, it can't be changed in the document.
Correspondence History
Once all signatures are collected, the final document replaces the merged document so your correspondence history will have the signed version.
Touch Support
Your internal staff, responsible parties, and patients can sign via a web page using a touch device or type their signature on devices which do not have touch support.
No Cost
Did you say "no cost"?!? Yep. We sure did. Edge Signature is included with Edge at no cost.
